Several exhibitions including prints, paintings, drawings and textiles are now being shown at the New Fogg Art Museum and will continue on exhibit throughout Commencement week. Among these is an exhibition of prints illustrative of the decorative art, a collection of textiles illustrating various weaves and a small exhibition of nineteenth and twentieth century paintings and drawings.
Although the show is not arranged in chronological order there are fabrics from Egypt and Peruvia dating from the Pre-Christian era, as well as examples of the work of modern times. Recent accessions which are now on display at the Fogg include embroideries, prints, Oriental paintings, sculpture and pottery and an antiphonary with illuminations by Lippo Vani.
