PROCTORS CHOOSE FOUR DORMITORY CHAIRMEN

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Chairmen and treasurers of the four Freshman dormitory committees have been named, according to announcements made yesterday by the head proctors of each Freshman Hall. The committees were selected on October 16, but the list of officers from the whole class was not completed until yesterday. Those chosen are as follows:

Smith Halls: chairman, M. C. Kirkbride: treasurer, Albert Pratt.

Standish Hall: chairman, R. G. Coburn, Jr.: treasurer, B. F. Newcomb, Jr.

McKinlock Hall: chairman, L. A. Francisco: treasurer, C. C. Pell, Jr.

Gore Hall: chairman, C. P. Lewis: treasurer, W. B. Osborne.

The four head proctors and S. L. Batchelder '31, chairman of the Student Council Committee on Freshman Affairs, exercise general supervision over the activities of the class, but the eight newly appointed officers, together with Batchelder, constitute a temporary executive board of the Class of 1933. As such they will direct the affairs of the Freshmen until class officers are elected after midyears.
