Harvard will have to do without the services of Arthur Huguley for its next two games, or until the Crimson meets Yale and Booth three weeks from now.
Huguley sustained a body injury, the exact nature of which has not been revealed in the Florida tilt last Saturday. It was thought that he would be in harness yesterday but Dr. Richards diagnosed the injury as being serious enough to keep him out for a length of time. Huguley was a first string back up until the Dartmouth game when he was replaced by Devens. He got in against the Green however and did some nice punting.
Huguley will be the only member of the squad to miss this Saturday's inter-sectional tilt. O'Connell and Gildea, the two who had to watch the Alligator tilt from the stands, were back in togs yesterday, jogging around the field. Wood, Devens, W. Ticknor and Douglas were all excused from the workout but will be back today.
The linemen were given a stiff session on the tackling dummy yesterday to correct their faults of last Saturday. Fred Gillies, former All-American lineman at Cornell, was on the field, helping out. Only two days practice remain before the team entrains for Ann Arbor and the work on these days will be extremely light.
The lineups:
Team A; l.e., Ogden; l.t., Barrett; l.g., Trainer; c, B. Ticknor; r.g., Talbot; r.t., Kuehn; r.e., Harding; q.b., Putnam; l.h.b., Mays; r.h.b., White; f.b., Harper.
Team B: l.e., Burns; l.t., Upton; l.g., Myerson; c., Richards; r.g., Ginman; r.f., Faxon; r.e., Moushegian; q.b., Wetmore; l.h.b., Batchelder, Gilligan; r.h.b., Mason; f.b., Potter.
