This afternoon there will be an opportunity for students to sign up for several of the regular winter sports. Squash, which last year was the most popular of the indoor sports among the Freshmen, opened Thursday afternoon with a meeting at which Coach H. L. Cowles outlined the plans for the season. There will be a meeting of Freshman candidates Thursday. Entries for the fall tournament close today.

Boxing will open its season this afternoon under the tutelage of Coach Lawrence Connolly, who will conduct classes five times a week this year for the first time, instead of three, as hitherto.

Handball starts with three tournaments, one each for members of the College, Law School, and Business School.
