The University soccer team closed the preliminary work of its season by defeating Brown Saturday afternoon on the field behind the Business School, 4 to 0. The Providence team was unable to penetrate the Crimson defense, despite the strong efforts of Rasmussen and Taite, forwards.

The Harvard team showed an improved game in general, and scored once in every period. Saturday afternoon, it meets an undefeated Eli team in the final game of the year.
