The University cross country team will attempt to avenge themselves for last year's defeat at the hands of the University of New Hampshire this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock when they race the Wildcat harriers over the Charles River course. Captain R. C. Aldrich '31 will run his first race this season, as will B. E. Estes '32, David Cobbs '31, R. W. Hale '31, and Daniel Merriman '31. Cobb and Estes have been on the injury list during the first part of the week, but are reported to be in good shape for this afternoon's grind.
The University team will start as follows: N. P. Hallowell '32; Estes; Cobb; G. M. Barrie '32; E. T. Floathe '32; J. M. Fox '31; Sturtevant Burr '31; Hale; Daniel Merriman '31. Substitutes: J. W. Fobes '32; C. B. Davis '31; T. A. Dodge '32; F. B. Thurber '30.
New Hampshire: H. A. Hazen; S. Lamson; A. C. Lazure; L. Moore; C. Noyes; S. Richardson; W. Roberts; A. Lynch; C. W. Prisk; L. H. Carleton.
Freshmen Also Run
The 1933 harriers will enter their second meet, against the New Hampshire Freshmen at the same time and place as the University contest. In leading position for the first year men will be F.S. Murphy '33, who took first position in the meet against Holy Cross last Saturday.
The Freshman team will start as follows: Murphy; R. R. Wesley; J. T. Hughes; A. Foote; N. P. Dodge; F. L. Steele; J. F. Ellsbree; A. Di Cieco; J. W. Clark; R. Cobb. Substitutes: N. P. Edmunds; J. C. Grady; C. Birckhead.
