Although the Massachusetts Squash Racquets Championship officially got underway yesterday in the University Courts, only one first round match had been played last night.

W. J. Iselin '29, captain of the University squash team and seeded first player of the tournament, is favored to come through to the finals with M. P. Baker '22, former Harvard star, who is seeded second.

T. E. Jansen '26, seeded third, W. H. Rise, seeded fifth, and F. S. Hill '24, seeded sixth, are among the most prominent of the remaining seeded players J. L. Pool '29, captain of last year's University squash team and present state champion, will be unable to defend his title this year, since he is now residing in another state.
