Resignation of E. D. Smith and E. C. Moore Announced--Wilson Leaves For Far East

Following a recent meeting of the Phillips Brooks House Committee announcement has been made of several new appointments made by the Corporation. Two men have been named to fill vacancies on the committee.

Dean Willard Sperry has been appointed by the Corporation to fill the position left vacant by the resignation of Professor E. C. Moore who for many years has served the Association in this capacity.

A. S. Johnson '95 has been appointed by the Corporation to succeed E. D. Smith '12, whose resignation from the P. B. H. Committee was announced recently.

The position of Chairman of the Committee, temporarily left vacant by the absence of Professor G. G. Wilson, will be filled for the remainder of this year by Professor G. H. Chase '96, dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Professor Wilson has left for the Far East in connection with his work, and will be gone for the remainder of the College term.

The Committee as it now stands is composed of the following men: Professor G. G. Wilson, chairman, Professor G. H. Chase '96, chairman, protem, W. J. Bingham, '16, treasurer, Dean Willard Sperry, A. S. Johnson '85, R. H. Holt, '11, George Wiggelsworth '74, Winslow Carlton '29, James Roosevelt '30 and J. H. Lane '28.
