The three new officers are Major A. A. White, Major Jones, and Captain F. B. Sharp, who will be the polo coach this year. Major White will give the first half of Military Science 3, and the last half of Military Science 4, Major Jones will have Military Science 1 under his direction, and Captain F. B. Sharp will conduct the first half of Military Science 1, and half of Military Science 2, as well as direction of the University and Freshman polo players.
Captain D. L. Ruffner who taught here last year has the first half of Military Science 2, and the second half of Military Science 3, Captain Franck Camm, recently promoted to this rank, has the direction of the first half of Military Science 4, and the last half of Military Science 1.
Equitation classes will be held every afternoon except Thursdays under Captains Ruffner and Camm. The department wishes attention called to the fact that equitation counts as required physical training for Freshmen, and is also open to upperclassmen.
