MANAGERIAL COMPETITION TO OPEN FOR 1932 ON MONDAY

The competition for Freshman Football Manager will get under way Monday afternoon with a meeting of all candidates in the H. A. A. at 1.05 o'clock. H. W. Clark '23, Assistant Director of Athletics, and W. S. Youngman '29, manager of football, will explain the plans for the season and outline the football managerial system at Harvard.

The competition offers wide experience in the large variety of work connected with the management of a large and complex organization. Even for men who fall to win one of the six positions open to Freshmen, there is much valuable training to be gained.

The six positions open are Freshman Manager, Assistant Freshman Manager Second Assistant Freshman Manager, and three Dormitory Managers, in the order given. The competition will last seven weeks, ending before the game with the Yale Freshmen.
