Rabbi Zarchi Confronted Maria Ressa, Walked Off Stage Over Her Harvard Commencement Speech
Stars of former Harvard baseball nines will clash with the best colored team in the Greater Boston district this evening at 6.15 o'clock when the Harvard All-Star's meet the Boston Tigers on the William E. Carter Playground, near the Boston Arena.
Snowball Jackson, the dusky manager of the Tigers, claims a record for his nine which puts the averages of any major league outfit to shame. According to the lurid yellow poster which he is circulating to drum up publicity for the contest, his charges have won four, out of three starts. Actual records, however, differ slightly from his claims, giving the Tigers five wins and two defeats.
M. A. Check '26 is managing the Harvard All-Stars and will play right field for the Crimson cohorts. The entire lineup of the Harvard nine has not yet been made public, although the names of several of the players have been announced.
R. R. Field '26, who slammed out a homer in last year's contest, will again hold down the first sack for the alumni outfit. R. G. Puffer '26, first string hurler for the University team several years ago, is scheduled to be one of the hurters.
