Madison Sayles '27, former University football and lacrosse star, has been appointed head coach of the Harvard lacrosse forces for next season, according to an announcement made at the Athletic Association last night. H. W. Jeffers 2G.B., who guided the Crimson stickmen through the major part of the past season, has left the University.

Sayles is also one of the assistant coaches on the University football tutoring staff, but he will be able to perform both these coaching duties in the fall. A coach for the Freshman lacrosse team will be appointed in the fall.
