The University golf team will face the strong Williams outfit this afternoon at 3 o'clock on the Weston Golf Club links.
The six men who will uphold the Crimson are J. A. Butchinson '28, Joseph Morrill '28, C. L. Stover '30, J. W. Hutchinson '30, O. L. Winston '30, and J. W. Filoon '29.
The Purple team is composed of seasoned material, only one of the men who will play today being new to the team this season. The Williams players are Blaney. Wheeler, Williams, Smith, Heller, and Nye.
Announcement was made last night that besides the six men who will face Williams the following men have been retained on the squad: S. R. Johnson '30, D. M. Proudfoot '29, J. B. Ward '30, and F. H. Soule '30. The cut is by no means final: any man who has been dropped can regain his standing by defeating a member of the squad in a 36 hole match.
