In clean white uniforms bearing the crimson image of a linotype machine on the left breast, the CRIMSON baseball team will emerge from its winter quarters at 3 o'clock today, Daylight Saving time, to take its first steps in preparation for the second annual diamond--clash with the Princetonian nine at Princeton on Saturday, May 12.
The journalistic team is fortified for the season with a complicated system of inside baseball which has prived very effective in dummy scrimmage in the office. This inside system will get its first test outside today. Coach R. H. Field '26 last night expressed some doubt as to the wisdom of suddenly turning the system inside out.
Dispatches from Princeton indicate that the Tigers, undisturbed by inclement weather and the King's English, have been hitting fungoes in the jungle for two weeks.
