Six permanent cups have been awarded to the winners in seven events in the Harvard Invitation Regatta. The cups are permanent annual trophies on which the names of the victors are engraved.
The regatta, which took place last week, consisted of 11 events, medals being awarded to the winner or winners in each. The Beacon Challenge Cup was awarded in two races.
These cups, in the order in which they were contested, are: Managers' Challenge Cup--won by J. A. Crooks '25. Filley Challenge Cup--won by third Freshman Crew. Union Bost Club Challenge Cup--won by third University crew. Regent's Cup won by J. S. Frame '29. Carroll challenge Cup--won by R. B. Thurber '29. Beacon Challenge Cup--won by first Gore Hall crew and combination class crew.
