Playing an overtime game on a slippery, wet field in Williamstown on Saturday, the University lacrosse team defeated Williams 5 to 4.
A rally in the last three minutes of play accounted for two goals and tied the score at 4 to 4, R. L. Hatch '28 making the tally which evened the count.
In the overtime period, the Crimson stickmen had the edge, and J. C. Dreier '28 had little difficulty in slamming the ball through the Purple net for the winning point.
J. C. Dreier '28 and Brown of Williams starred for their respective teams, each scoring two goals.
The Yale game will be played on Wednesday afternoon on Soldiers Field, ending the lacrosse season.
