BRUNONIANS MEET UNIVERSITY NINE

Howard Is Mound Choice, Replacing Cutts--Latter Is Saved for Michigan Engagement Saturday

The contest between the Harvard and Brown baseball teams scheduled for yesterday was postponed on account of bad weather to 4 o'clock this afternoon.

The postponement will probably bring about a change in the University lineup that was announced yesterday. Willard Howard '28 will probably start on the mound for the Crimson instead of F. B. Cutts '28.

Coach F. G. Mitchell is planning to use Cutts against Michigan when the nine journeys to Ann Arbor to meet the Wolverines on Saturday. If the contest with the Bruins had been held yesterday as scheduled, Cutts would have had sufficient time to recuperate from the strain of hurling nine innings of baseball. Under the present arrangement, however, only one day of rest separates the Brown and Michigan games.

J. N. Barbee '28 is still being bothered with a rheumatic back and will be unable to take his turn on the mound for several days. The cold weather of the past few days has hindered his recovery.

The Brown team which comes to Cambridge today does not rank with the strong Bruin nines of the past few years. Lack of veterans, particularly on the pitching staff, has considerably hampered the development of the visiting aggregation. Lingham will probably carry the mound assignment for the invaders.
