The Harvard sluggers pounded four Middlebury pitchers yesterday afternoon for a total of 20 hits and 18 runs while Howard Whitmore '29 was holding the Vermonters to four scattered hits.

It was the best day at bat of the season for the University players, who slammed the offerings of the opposing tossers for four home runs, two triples, and a pair of doubles. Once on base, the Crimson players were able to steal when and how they wanted.

G. E. Donaghy '28 had a field day at bat with two circuit clouts and two singles in five trips to the plate. J. P. Chase '28 and W. W. Lord '28 also collected homers.

Yesterday's victory was the eleventh of the season for the Harvard team. HARVARD   a.b.  r.  h.  p.o.  a.  e.
