STANDISH HALL TAKES WINTER CHAMPIONSHIP

The Winter Championship of the Freshman Interdormitory Competition was won by Standish Hall by a decisive margin, it was announced yesterday. Gore Hall nosed out Smith and McKinlock.

The method of scoring was similar to that used in track meets, the dormitory winning each event being awarded five points, the second receiving three, and the third, one.

Standish gained their supremacy by taking first place in handball, wrestling, and squash. McKinlock got the title among the basketball quintets, while Smith captured the track honors. The totals of the competing dormitories were: Standish 23, Gore 14, Smith 11 1-2, McKinlock 5 1-2.
