SPRING FOOTBALL PRACTICE TO END WITH GAME FRIDAY

Coaches Will Face Army and Navy Teams in Scrimmages Today

The last week of the 1928 spring practice of the University football team will open today with scrimmages between the coaches and the Army and Navy teams. The spring workout, which has lasted three weeks, will conclude with a game on Friday.

In the contest today the coaches will play one quarter with the Army team, one quarter with the Navy team, and during the last half the Army and the Navy teams will battle each other.

The football aspirants numbered 110 this spring, a larger squad than in previous years. The daily attendance has been unusually good, according to Coach Arnold Horween '20.
