JUNIORS TAKE MEASURE OF SOPHOMORE NINE BY 13 TO 6

Hitting Light in Mound Duel by Class Team Hurlers

In the first game of the Class series held yesterday afternoon on the class diamond, the Juniors downed the Sophomores by a 13 to 6 score.

For seven innings the game was a pitchers' duel between L. B. Belknap '30, Sophomore moundsman, and H. H. Chung '29, Junior hurler. In the eighth inning, the Juniors tallied five times by capitalizing Sophomore errors to put the game on ice.

The batting was light, but, considering the small amount of practice which the teams have had, the fielding was of a high grade:
