CAMBRIDGE LATIN HIGH LOSES TO SECOND NINE

Crimson Batters Pound Out Nine Hits for a 4 to 2 Victory--Colpak Allows Only Two Safeties

Taking the Cambridge Latin School nine into camp by a 4 to 2 score, the Second University baseball team won its second encounter of the season yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field. The Crimson batters pounded out nine hits, while the opposing sluggers were let down with a total of four.

E. A. Colpak '29, starting on the mound for the Second nine, struck out seven and allowed only two hits in his four innings of service.

John Tudor '29 led his team at the bat with three singles out of four trips to the plate. Hilliard, Cambridge Latin twirler and shortstop, furnished the fireworks by slamming a circuit clout through the arches of the Stadium for his only hit.
