NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Last Wednesday two 150-pound crews raced the first two Kent School crews over the Housatonic course.

The race of the first eights resulted in a dead heat but the second schoolboys combination edged out a close victory by four feet in fast time. The conditions for the races were fairly fast, with a slight wind behind the crews.

The first boats covered the Henley distance in 6 minutes, 47 seconds, while the Kent winning crew made the fast time of 5 minutes, 16 seconds.
