This year's class baseball season, will get under way this afternoon with a meeting of all candidates in the Locker Building at 2 o'clock with M. A. Cheek Jr. '26 again in charge.
All members of the three upper classes in the University will be eligible for the class teams this year, men on probation being permitted to take part in the league games but not against Yale in the final game of the season.
Each class team will play the other two teams three times for the University title, the winner meeting Yale class team champion in Cambridge on May 26. Those who play against Yale will be awarded their class numerals and in case of victory will receive special medals.
Although a new articles of equipment will be available, candidates for the most part will have to furnish their own equipment.
