The Freshman fencing team won a victory over the Andover foilsmen by a score of 5 to 4 yesterday afternoon at Hemenway Gymnasium. The close score does not give an accurate account of the match, for three of the four matches gained by the schoolboys were won by default as the Freshman foilsmen forfeited the matches so that the University clash with Boston University might begin on time. By winning over Andover the Freshmen maintained their record of an unbroken string of victories this season.

Foils: A. C. MacGowan '31 defeated Beckwith (A) 5-4, H. B. Wesselman '31 defeated J. Murray (A) 5-3, S. S. Morrill '31 defeated W. Murray (A) 5-1, Wesselman defeated Beckwith (A) 5-4, J. Murray (A) defeated Morrill 5-3, MacGowan defeated W. Murray (A) 5-0, W. Murray (A) defeated Wesselman by default, Beckwith (A) defeated Morrill by default and J. Murray (A) defeated MacGowan by default.
