Both the University and Freshman fencing teams will see action this afternoon when the University foilsmen meet Boston University and the first-year swordsmen engage Andover at the Hemenway Gymnasium. The University clash is scheduled to start at 3.30 o'clock, while the Freshman meeting with Andover will begin at 5 o'clock.

The University fencers are confident of taking the measure of the B. U. swordsmen, who have not had a successful season to date. The contest will consist of only the foils bouts, the epee and sabre events having been ruled out of the meet by mutual agreement.

The Freshmen will meet one of the strongest preparatory school aggregations in the Andover fencers this afternoon. Not yet having met defeat this season, the Freshmen are confident of winning over Andover.

The University line-up this afternoon follows:

Foils: Captain C. B. Hollister '29, M. R. Berliner, '28, and D. I. Modell '30.

The Freshmen line-up against Andover follows:

Foils: Captain H. B. Wesselman '31, S. S. Morrill '31, and A. C. MacGowan '31.

Substitutes: S. C. Smith '31, H. C. Cassidy '31, and W. B. Speare '31.
