At the annual convention of the I. C. A. A. A. A. held in New York on Saturday, it was announced that the 1928 outdoor championship meet will take place at the University. This is in accordance with the regular custom of alternating the event between Cambridge and Philadelphia: Last spring's meet was held at Franklin Field.
According to present plans the preliminary events will be run off on May 25 and the finals will take place the next day.
The committee also took under advisement the petition for admittance of several new institutions, final action pending a thorough investigation of their eligibility rules.
Harvard is particularly fortunate in having two of the biggest events of the outdor season this spring, for besides, the I. C. 4A. classic, the Olympic tryouts are scheduled to be held in the stadium.
