ANNUAL CIRCOLO BALL LURES MEMBERS TONIGHT

CAPRIO TO RECEIVE APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

The annual Circolo Italiano ball will be held in the Swiss Room of the Copley Plaza hotel tonight at 10 o'clock. The proceeds from the dance are given to help worthy students in their educational courses and to add to the scholarship fund which each year enables the Circolo to send a man abroad for study.

The patronesses for the function will be headed by Mrs. A. Lawrence Lowell and will include Mrs. Allen Curtis, the Marchesa Ferrante di Rufflano, Mrs. C. S. French, Mrs. E. F. Green, Mrs. E. B. Hill, Mrs. Samuel Hoar, Mrs. George Lee, Mrs. Frank Levereni, Mrs. Guy Lowell, Mrs. J. A. Coolidge, Mrs. C. H. Grandgent, Mrs. J. D. M. Ford, Mrs. J. R. Darling, Mrs. F. R. Nourse and Mrs. Murray Potter.

The ushers for the occasion as announced last night by R. B. Gierasch '30, chairman of the dance committee, are R. W. Burgevin '29, J. M. French '29, F. W. Blatchford '30, C. S. Conklin '29, R. L. O'Brien '29, R. B. Gierasch '30, B. M. Parks '29, R. E. Forrester Jr. '31, J. R. Darling '30, William Worthington '29, and Stewart Boal '29. Gierasch is handling the tickets and subscriptions.

The committee which will decide upon the applicants for the scholarship and determine the successful candidate will be composed of Professor George LaPiana, Professor G. B. Weston '97, Professor J. D. M. Ford, and Professor C. H. Grandgent '83. Applications for scholarship are in the hands of A. P. Caprio '29, secretary of the club.

The hostesses who will receive at the dance are the Marchesa Ferrante di Rufflano, Mrs. C. S. French, Mrs. Frank Leveroni, Mrs. J. A. Coolidge, Mrs. C. H. Grandgent, Mrs. J. D. M. Ford, Mrs. George Lee, and Mrs. J. R. Darling.
