"KING DAVID" TRAINING NEARING COMPLETION

WORK WILL BE DIRECTED BY DR. A. T. DAVISON '06

Preparations for the Symphony Hall production of "King David" are rapidly nearing completion with rehearsals in Symphony Hall with M. Serge Koussevitsky, and the Boston Symphony orchestra. As in "Oedipus Rex", the University Glee Club, trained by Professor A. T. Davison '06, will take the part of the chorus. The Radcliffe Choral Society will aid in supporting the soloists who are to sing in the opera.

It will be the first appearance in Boston of Arthur Honegger's symphonic psalm which previously has been so successful in other musical centers as to create a greater demand for this form of contemporary choral music.
