Yesterday afternoon at 3.30 o'clock on Soldiers Field, the spring football squad went through its second informal scrimmage of the season. Coach Arnold Horween '20 and his staff of assistants witnessed the game and expressed satisfaction with the results.
The teams were the same as those of the scrimmage on Monday, the Army team and the Navy team. The play lasted over an hour. In the first two quarters the first string outfits battled, while during most of the last half, the remaining members of each squad participated. Several spectacular plays were made including two long punts and several runs. The Navy team came from behind during the second quarter and managed to score a goal after a long march down the field. The first teams of each squad lined up as follows:
Army--left end, S. C. Burns '30; left tackle, R. H. Johnson '31; left guard, John Parkinson '29; center, A. B. Bigelow '30; right guard, J. N. Trainer '31; right tackle, G. P.
