LACROSSE TEAM FACES SCHEDULE OF 14 GAMES

FRESHMAN PROGRAM ENLARGED TO COMPRISE FIVE CONTESTS

Facing a schedule of 14 games, the University lacrosse squad is now working out daily on the Soldiers Field turf. Only ten days are left before the team leaves for the south, and the stickmen may be handicapped in their development through bad weather.

Four games will be played on the southern trip during the spring vacation. L'Hirondelle Club of Baltimore will be the first opponent of the Crimson. St. John's, the University of Maryland, and the Mount Washington Country Club of Baltimore will fill the week's program.

A five-game schedule has been arranged for the Freshman lacrosse aggregation this year. A promising squad has reported.

Captain J. H. Lane '28, stellar defense man, is backed up in the defense line by Ira Markwett '28 and J. H. Wallace '28. H. L. Ellison '28 and C. D. McQuaid '28 are the most powerful candidates for the offense.

A five-game schedule has been arranged for the Freshman aggregation, including two trips. This marks a step forward for the first-year stickmen, who have never before played more than two games.

The University schedule follows:

April 9--L'Hirondelle Club at Baltimore.

April 11--St. John's at Annapolis.

April 12--University of Maryland at College Park.

April 14--Mount Washington Country Club at Baltimore.

April 19--Boston Lacrosse Club.

April 21--Dartmouth.

May 5--University of Pennsylvania.

May 9--Brown.

May 12--Union.

May 14--Syracuse.

May 16--Springfield.

May 19--Army at West Point.

May 26--Williams at Williamstown.

May 30--Yale.
