NAME COMMITTEES FOR FRESHMAN CATHERINGS

Jubilee and Smoker Committees Chosen-May 25 Is Date for Final Festivity

The Freshman Jubilee and Smoker committees were announced last night by their respective chairmen, B. H. Ticknor '31 and Marshall Stearns '31, These chairmen were appointed last week by the Freshman class officers.

The Jubilee committee appointed by Ticknor is as follows: A. W. Huguley '31, sub-chairman, and P. H. Watts '81, F. H. Gade '81, J. E. Lawrence '81, R. G. Edwards '31, R. J. Leonard '81, James Parker '31, F. L. Winston '81, Sumner, Putnam '31, R. S. Warner '81, Henry Schrewind '31, Chauning Frothingham '31, J. B. Garrison, '31, Ogden White '31, and August Belmont '81 The Jubilee committee will have complete charge of the Freshman Jubilee probably to be held on Friday, May 23. This event is the climax of the 1931 social season.

Stearns, in charge of the Freshman Smoker, announced his assistants as follows, R. L. Scott '31, sub-chairman, R. S. Ogden '31, catering Henry Chalfanf '31, cards and posters Daniel Merrimas '31, orchestra, F. M. Pruyn '31, speakers. The rest of the committee will be announced at a later date by Stearns. The Smoker, to be held some time in April, will be the first formal gathering of the class of 1931.
