Dr. L. B. Slichter of the Physical Exploration Corporation will deliver a series of five lectures next week on geophysical methods employed in prospecting for metallic ores. The lectures are given as part of a course in mining geology, but are open to all members of the University. The dates and titles of the lectures are as follows:
March 19--"Gravitational Methods"
March 20--"Magnetic Methods"
March 21--"Self-Potential and Applied Potential Methods"
March 22--"The Inductive Method"
March 23--"Application to Geologic Mining Problems, and Economic Aspects"
The lectures will be given at 4 o'clock in Room 108 of the Rotch Building.
