University Runners Renew Athletic Rivalry With Wolverines--Twenty-Three Men Entrain Today

When the University track team clashes with the runners of Michigan on the Wolverine's boards tomorrow night, it will be the first dual meeting of representatives of the two universities for over a dozen years. Not since 1914, when Harvard defeated Michigan on the gridiron, 7 to 0, for the third consecutive time, have the Crimson and Wolverine forces met in any field of dual sport.

The meet tomorrow night will be the first of a number of athletic contests to be staged between Harvard and Michigan during the coming few years. Two baseball tilts have been scheduled for this spring, and arrangements for gridiron battles in 1929 and 1930 have been concluded.

The University forces will entrain for Ann Arbor, 23 men strong, this afternoon at 3.15 o'clock, determined to give the runners of the Middle West a battle royal tomorrow night. Coach E. L. Farrell hopes to enter two men in every one of the 11 events except the high jump, in which there will be but one Crimson entry
