The date for the Harvard Interscholastic Track Meet has been set for May 5 at 3.30 o'clock, it was announced last night at the Harvard Athletic Association. The meet will follow the University Handicap Meet.
Last year over 16 schools were entered and 45 actually competed. Four hundred individual entries were recorded.
A probable innovation this year will be two 440-yard races instead of the one which was held last year.
With 60 entries in the event and 45 men actually competing last year, the race proved to be unfair to contestants started in the last rows.
Inquiries concerning the meet should be sent to J. G. Whitham '29, Interscholastic manager.
