NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In view of the increased demand for variety in compulsory Freshman athletics, Freshman golf will be innaugurated this year, it was voted at the Athletic Committee meeting Monday.

The innovation has been started on a small scale, with only two games scheduled for the first season. The first game will be on Saturday, May 19, with the Dartmouth Freshmen, the second will be played at Providence on Wednesday, May 30, with the Yale Freshmen. This last match will be played off on a holiday, as no cuts from classes will be excused for this sport.

The team will be limited to only six men. It is expected that the man in charge of Freshman Gold will be the University captain. J. A. Hutchinson '30. The system used will be the same as that employed by the University team, each man coaching himself.
