The Freshman squash team, called by Coach B. L. Cowles the best first year team he has ever produced, journeys to New Haven to meet the Yale 1931 racquetmen this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock.
The record of the Freshmen to date shows a tie for second place in the local class C league and only two matches in the lost column. The Eli team, on the other hand, is an unknown quantity. Freshman squash is a newly organized sport at New Haven, this year's team being the first to play outside matches.
The team is led by Ogden Phipps '31, whose consistently brilliant playing all season has been in a large measure responsible for his team's success. The other players follow: No. 2, C. D. Breckeuridge '31: No. 3. A. C. Angraham '31; No. 4. N. F. Glidden '31; and No. 5. R. R. Stebbins '31.
The Yale team will line up with Ingram, the captain, in the first position Holbrook second. Rittenberg third, McGliun fourth, and Weiner fifth.
