This afternoon the Freshman hockey squad will meet a strong Exeter sextet on the Exeter rink at 3 o'clock.
As they have had no serious rivals as yet, the first-year men look back on a series of undefeated games. If comparative scores may be considered as adequate evidence, the first-year men should win today's encounter.
The Exeter team was defeated by Milton by a score of 2-1; the game was an extremely hard-fought one and Milton was trailing the leading Exeter outfit until the end of the second period. In their encounter with the Freshmen. Milton suffered a decisive defeat, in form of a 3-0 shutout.
The Freshmen are in good shape with the exception of R. S. Ogden '31, who was hit in the eye during practice yesterday, it was doubtful last night whether he would be able to play to today's conflict or not.
The Exonians have proven to be a powerful outfit this year, their goal guard, Nasson Hawkes, who made several brilliant stops in last year's Freshman game, has lived up to his former reputation this year.
