UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA HONORS HARVARD PROFESSOR

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University of California has recently honored Josiah Royce Hon, '11, former Harvard professor. The main auditorium and class room building now under construction at that university is to be named Josiah Royce Hall.

The building will contain a complete collection of the writings of Royce as a perpetual reminder of his thought and spirit and the fullest means of access to them.

Josiah Royce held the Alford Professorship of Natural Religion, Moral Philosophy, and Civil Poetry at Harvard between 1914 and 1916. Royce was a member of the American Academy, and the American Philosophical Society.
