Battery candidates for both University and Freshman baseball teams will report this afternoon in the LeBaron Russell Briggs Baseball Cage, the University aspirants at 2 o'clock, and the Freshmen at 3.30 o'clock.
With one exception, the 1927 twirling staff of the University nine is intact. J. N. Barbee '28, F. B. Cutts '28, Willard Howard '28, R. R. Ketchum '29, and E. L. Molloy '29 have University experience be hind them. W. S. Hardie '30 and D. W. LaRue '30 are available from last year's Freshman team.
F. R. G. Giddens '29, John Prior '29, E. J. Steptoe '30, and R. W. Turner '28 are possibilities to fill the backstop's berth left vacant by the graduation of Benry Chauncey '27.
