HARVARD CLUB OF BOSTON ANNOUNCES TWO LECTURES

Poor and Fries to Talk--Sun Bath Cure Open During February

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Plans of the Harvard Club of Boston announced for the next two months include two lectures by prominent speakers.

Today at 8.30 o'clock. H. W. Poor will give an illustrated lecture entitled "Scenic America". His talk will deal primarily with the National Parks, Grand Canyon, and the Indian Detour. The lecture is made possible through the courtesy of the Santa Fe Railway System.

Major General A. A. Fries will give a lecture on "Chemical Warfare" on February 8 at 8.30 o'clock. The talk will be illustrated with motion pictures and lantern slides.

During the entire months of February and March the club's new sun bath room will be open to the members. The room is open every day from 10, to 7 o'clock. A special attendant is in charge of the baths and makes a test to determine the amount of exposure to the actinic rays that each person should have. Complete card records are kept of every treatment taken, thus eliminating the possibilities of over-exposure. The exposure to the ultra-violet rays will vary from two minutes for new patrons to a longer time for those who have become accustomed to the treatment.
