Almost the entire Harvard eleven was honored by the Associated Press in its annual selection of mythical all star teams of the Eastern universities. Nine of the eleven regulars were listed in the "Honorable Mention" category of this selection, although none was included on either of the two teams chosen.
F. A. Pickard '29 and R. H. O'Connel '30 were mentioned in a select group of ends of the East, and J. E. Barrett '30 and F. A. Clark '29 were included among the tackles. J. N. Trainer '31 and W. D. Ticknor '31, guards, completed the roster of Crimson linemen in the list.
E. T. Putnam '30 ranked next to Nave, of the Army, among the quarterbacks, David Guarnaccia '29 led the array of halfbacks, including Captain A. E. French '29. About a dozen men were named for each position.
