Princeton, N. J. Nov. 27--The John C. Green School of Science, one of the oldest Princeton buildings, was razed by fire at an early hour this morning. The loss has been estimated at over $200,000.

The building, which was constructed in 1873, had housed the School of Engineering until two weeks ago. At the time of the fire it was being used by the departments of Economics, Politics, and Social Institutions.

Princeton's fire department held the blaze in check for some time, but it eventually broke away from the fire fighters and completed its work of destruction.
