To the Editors of the CRIMSON: I am one of a great number of alumni who deplore the destruction of the goal posts after a victory in the modern way and I should like to suggest that it is quite possible to build goal posts, which will resist the enthusiasts after a game. A grillage of channel beams with steel gussets riveted to the up fights would serve. With engineering in the place of good manners we could have the old march under the goal posts which used to finish the games so handsomely. Kenneth Conant '15
