The second of the series of University teas will be held this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock in the Harvard Union. All members of the University both faculty and undergraduates are invited.
For the sake of those undergraduates who many wish to meet any particular member of the faculty a certain group has been especially urged to attend each tea. The portion of the faculty which has been invited to attend is as follows: Division of Fine Arts, school of Landscape Architecture, school of Architecture, Officials of the College Library, Division of Philosophy, Division of Anthropology.
The tea which was held last week the first of the year, was one of the most successful which has ever taken place. with over 300 attending.
The following members of the faculty and their wives will receive this afternoon: 4.30 to 5 o'clock, Professor R. P. Blake '12 and Mrs. Blake, Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Williams: 5 to 5.30 o'clock, Professor G.H. Chase '96, and Mrs. chase, Professor and Mrs. A. N. Whitehead, Professor J. H. Woods '87 and Mrs. woods 5.30 to 6 o'clock, Professor K. J. Contant'15 and Mrs. K. J. Contant, Professor A. M. Tozeer '00 and Mrs. Tozeer.
The freshman Players, who furnished the music for last week's tea, will play today. They have also been engaged for all ensuing teas due to the popularity of their music last week.
Undergraduate ushers for the affair have not been named, but it is expected that several of those who served last week will be on hand today. It has been found difficult to obtain ushers for this tea, as a great majority of the eligible men are leaving early for New Haven. However, it will not be so necessary to have as large a force this week since not as many guests are expected.
