UNDEFEATED FIRST YEAR TEAMS CLASH

Harvard Eleven Will Strive to Make it Three Straight Over Blue-Teams Rated Equal

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

While the giants of the Eastern gridirons engage each other in various feature battles this afternoon, a contest, will take place in New Haven which promises to equal if not eclipse in thrills and fine football anyone of the major college clashes.

Both of the Freshman elevens have gone through undefeated and untied seasons to choose a favorite in today's clash would be folly. Both records include triumphs over Exeter and Andover with but little to choose in the margins of victory.

Crimson After Third Eli Win

The Crimson eleven will enter the clash determined to prolong the list of Freshman victories over Yale to three straight. The past two years have seen a smoothly functioning eleven, keyed to a fighting pitch by Coach E. L. Casey to carry off the honors in hotly-contested battles.

Outstanding players will be seen in action on both sides. For Harvard E. A Mays, Captain W. B. Wood, and F. J. Gilligan have been consistent backfield performers all season.
