FIRST YALE DEBATE TONIGHT

Harding, Heard and Quail Attack Smith on Crimson Rostrum

Final plans for the first Yale debate, to be held tonight at New Haven, were announced last night by E. M. Rowe '27, debating coach.

J. F. Harding '30, J. K. Heard '30, and R. F. Quail '30 will be the speakers, and L. F. Hess sp, will act as alternate. The debate will take place at 8 o'clock in the Lampson Lyceum at New Haven.

Tonight the Harvard team will argue the negative of the proposition, "Resolved: That Al Smith should be elected president". Next Thursday three other men will uphold the positive side of the same question against Yale in Symphony Hall. The men for this second debate have been competing this week, and their names will be announced in a few days.
