At the meeting of the Republican Club at the Union last night Lieutenant-governor F. G. Allen, Congress man C. L. Beedy of Maine, and Henry Parkman, Jr. '15 addressed a gathering of undergraduates and graduates of the University. F. A. Clark '29, chairman of the executive committee of the meeting Republican Club presided at the meeting and introduced the three speakers.
The Harvard Union gave a dinner in honor of Lieutenant-governor Allen Congressman Beedy and Mr. Parkman before the meeting of the club, the graduate and undergraduate committees and a few guests also attending. The Republican club has placed tables in the hall of the Union where it is now possible for any member of the University to join the organization.
