An unexpected upset in squash play was seen yesterday in the outcome of the matches of the University tournament, when D. F. Davis '30 defeated J. L. Pool '28, second seeded player of the tournament, 2-1. Pool has not been defeated heretofore, and has just recently advanced to the second round of the State Individual Championship tournament.
The results of three other matches of the tournament played yesterday are as follows: T. E. Jansen 2L, Law School Champion, defeated J. C. Cooley 1L, 2-0; T. E. Jansen defeated A. T. Gray '30, by default; B. H. Whitbeck '29 defeated J. C. Cooley 1L, 2-0.
