HARVARD AND COLUMBIA TO SETTLE STATUS OF SMITH

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University debating team will undertake its second debate of the year when it meets the Columbia speakers tonight at 8 o'clock in the Lecture Hall of the Horace Mann School in New York City. The subject for the argument is: "Resolved, That Al Smith is eminently qualified for the Presidency." Last Wednesday evening the Harvard team debated the Boston College speakers unsuccessfully on the same question.

The University team will uphold the negative side of the argument. T. N. Stensland '28, Brooks Otis '28, and Norman Winer '29, alternates in the last debate, will be on the rostrum for Harvard. Saul Rosenzweig '29, A. L. Raffa ocC., and Barrett Williams '28 will serve as alternates in this contest.
